Become
a HALOS Partner
The key to HALOS’ ability to achieve
our mission is our partnerships with individuals and organizations
in the community. If you or your group wants to make a difference
in the lives of children in Charleston County, you can become
HALOS partner. Partners contribute in three important ways by
Promoting, Participating and Publicizing HALOS programs.
HALOS has partnered with many religious, community, and
social groups. These groups can sponsor children in our HALOS
programs, organize holiday giving trees, spread the word
about HALOS, and help in many other ways.
Partnerships with local businesses are also extremely important.
Employees can band together to sponsor children in our annual
programs, and companies can provide corporate sponsorship
at our events.
And if you don’t have a group to participate with,
we can work with you in individual partnerships to find the
best way to contribute.
Whatever your situation, there are plenty of ways to help.

Get Involved
No special qualifications are needed
to make a difference in the life of a child; all it takes
is the willingness to help. And if you are willing, HALOS
can use your help.
At HALOS, we rely on partnerships with individuals
and groups in the community to achieve our mission. We are
only as strong as our partnerships, and your business, civic
group, club, religious group, or other organization can play
an important role to help abused and neglected children in
Charleston County.
Through partnerships with individuals and
organizations, we provide assistance to the children in our
community who need it the most. Without these partnerships,
our work would not be possible. So if you or your group want
to make a difference, become a HALOS partner.
1. Faith, community,
social, and other groups
Social and faith-based groups have been the backbone of HALOS’ efforts.
Through these partnerships, we have made a significant difference
in the lives of many children in Charleston County. And if
you are part of a group that wants to get involved, let us
know. Whether it’s a Bible study group or a book club,
a group of motivated individuals can achieve amazing things.
As a HALOS partner, your group can sponsor children in our
annual programs or organize a Christmas giving tree. You
can also volunteer together at our Kinship Care program and
help to spread the word about HALOS. And there are many other
ways to help.
If you think your group has something to contribute, contact
us today.
2. Corporate groups
and businesses
HALOS also strives to create partnerships with groups in
the workplace.
If you and your coworkers have a common interest in improving
the lives of children in your community, you can band together
to sponsor children in our annual programs. You can build
a sense of teamwork with your coworkers and give back to
the community at the same time.
In addition, corporate sponsorships of HALOS events allow
us to reach out to the community. And corporate donations
can provide desperately needed funds to address crucial needs.
Through HALOS’ partnership program, you and your business
can have a tremendous impact in the community.
3. Individuals
Even if you don’t have a group to partner with, you
can still make a difference through HALOS. Every penny we
raise and every volunteer hour is precious, so if you feel
a calling to help, contact us. We can work together to find
the best way for you to help the abused and neglected children
in Charleston County.
