For cash-strapped caregivers who struggle just to get by, August can be an especially difficult month. The back-to-school season is filled with substantial costs such as uniforms, books, backpacks, and many other school supplies.

These school supplies are essential for children to start the school year on the right foot. And abused and neglected children cannot afford to fall behind because a good education is absolutely essential for them to improve their lives.

Through our Back to School program, HALOS ensures that children in our community have the same opportunities as their peers so that they can make the most of their education. But we need your help. With your financial donations, we can purchase the school supplies that are most desperately needed. Or you can sponsor a child and handpick back-to-school items yourself. However you choose to contribute, your donations can ensure that unfortunate children in your community start the school year excited and ready to learn.
